2 1/2 stars. I liked it up until book three. It didn't understand the point of book three. Once I got there I had to finish but I honestly didn't read it. I skimmed through it. This was a cute story that could and should have been told in 1 or 2 stories. I don't recommend reading book 3. Just read 1 and 2 and test that it's a happy ending. No marriage or babies just a decent happy ending.Product details

Even though the story was slightly predictable, it was a very enjoyable read. A nice guilty pleasure, if you will.
I enjoyed reading the series of books. They were easy to read (there was some punctuation errors but you could still follow the story) and to get into the story. I am now reading the follow on story's from this series.
Max and Dan - sweet story. Max hires an escort however; I love the fact that after he meets her he did not want to take the money. I had to read the entire series over the weekend. Love at first sight.
Max is a strong women that needs a good man, in the most unlikely place she found what she didn't even know she was looking for. I couldn't just read the 1st book I had to read them all. Now I'm looking forward to reading all of Harmony Raines books.
Glossed over parts that should have been expanded (I.e. embezzlement). Both characters really weren't all that strong. The love story was sweet. I bought the box set, but still trying to decide if it was worth it.
I enjoyed the story, but was confused on some of the frasing. A number of the sentences didn't make sense, so I had to read them a number of times to understand what the author was trying to say. I did enjoy the characters and was happy at the ending.
I really think this is only a 2 1/2 star book. I thought the story itself was really good-really good conflicts and character development. However, I couldn't pinpoint the setting. Was it supposed to be a vague metropolitan city or was it supposed to be London? There were some uses of British slang sprinkled throughout but not enough to really make it obvious. I was so distracted trying to figure it out. And then there were soooooo many grammatical errors that deterred from the understanding of the text. Several times, I had to go back and reread a sentence to figure out what was going because of the multiple errors. Very distracting.
